Think and Grow Rich is a motivational personal development and self-help book written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by a suggestion from Scottish-American businessman Andrew Carnegie. It was first published in 1937 during the Great Depression. It remains the biggest seller of Napoleon Hill's books - a perennial best-seller after 70 years. Business Week Magazine's Best-Seller List ranked Think and Grow Rich as the sixth best-selling paperback business book 70 years after it was first published. Think and Grow Rich is listed in John C. Maxwell's A Lifetime "Must Read" Books List. The text of Think and Grow Rich is founded on Hill's earlier work The Law of Success, the result of more than twenty years of research based on Hill's close association with a large number of individuals who achieved great wealth during their lifetimes. At Andrew Carnegie's bidding, Hill studied the characteristics of these achievers and developed 16 "laws" of success intended to be applied by anybody to achieve success. Think and Grow Rich condenses these laws further and provides the reader with 13 principles in the form of a philosophy of personal achievement. Think and Grow Rich is a must read for anybody in business.


The Richest Man in Babylon is a book by George Samuel Clason which dispenses financial advice through a collection of parables set in ancient Babylon. Through their experiences in business and managing household finance, the characters in the parables learn simple lessons in financial wisdom. By basing these parables in ancient times, but involving situations that modern people can understand and identify with, the author presents these lessons as timeless wisdom that is as relevant today as it was back then. The Richest Man in Babylon began in 1926 as a series of informational pamphlets. Banks and insurance companies began to distribute these pamphlets, and the most famous ones were eventually compiled into this book. This book will give you the ground rules for creating wealth.


The One Minute Manager, is a book by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, and has sold more than 13 million copies and has been translated into 37 languages. The brief volume reveals three secrets to productive and efficient managing as told through a young man's search for the perfect managing and leading skills: one-minute goals, one-minute praisings and one-minute reprimands. Each of these takes only a minute but is of lasting benefit. The One Minute Manager is a quick read that emphasises key points throughout. The message is clear, and implementing the ideas is straight-forward and laid out in the book. This makes it simple to utilise the knowledge and techniques that the one minute manager style offers. It is an effective tool for anybody managing staff.
